Joe A. Chambers, age 67, of Nashville, Ark.,, went to his Eternal Home on Thursday, May 26, 2022, in Nashville. Joe was born April 17, 1955, in Berlin, Germany to Joe D. Chambers and Margaret Krejcarek Chambers.
Joe was a retired maintenance worker for Tyson Food. He also was a faithful member of Ridgeway Baptist Church. Joe was a family person, he loved crafting, playing board games with family and friends, and dearly loved being a volunteer fireman for Center Point Fire Department. He was even a ‘Pink Lady’ at Howard Memorial Hospital. One of his best friends was his little dog, Bruce. It was said that he was a big kid at heart.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Susan Jones and a nephew, Jeremy Jones.
His survivors include his loving parents, Joe D., and Margaret Chambers of Nashville; his wife of over 6 years, Carolyn Skates Chambers of Nashville; two stepdaughters, Melissa Holden and husband Charles of Nashville, and Christi Beth of Nashville; four grandchildren and two great-granddaughters; his nieces and nephews, John P. Jones, Margaret Davis, Millie Gosnell, and James L. Jones; a large host of other family and friends.
Services will be Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at 2 p.m. in Nashville Funeral Home with Bro. Alan Cook and Bro. Larry Sherman officiating. Interment will follow in Restland Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday night from 6 to 8 p.m.
