Nashville candidate announces bid for HOCo sheriff

A Nashville man has announce his candidacy for sheriff of Howard County.

Ryan Gilbert will run as a Republican. In his announcement he says he wants to get trash on roadways cleaned up, and has other ideas “that will help our community and children of this county.”

Gilbert cites his experience as a deputy, K-9 handler and police officer.

He and his wife Kim live in Nashville and have four children.
