On Monday, Nov. 15, at 5 p.m., the Howard County Master Gardener group will hold its monthly meeting.

The meeting will be held in room 101 at the University of Arkansas Cossatot Campus. This month, Hope Nolen of the Compass Behavioral Health office from Howard Memorial Hospital, will be our guest speaker. She will be informing the Master Gardeners’ group about their department’s services and discuss how the Master Gardeners and Compass Behavioral Health might be able to work together.

The Howard County Master Gardener group recently formed this past summer and is looking for others in the county who have an interest in gardening and community service.

The monthly meetings are open to the public and we have some great ways you can learn more about gardening and be a part of what makes Howard County a great place to live.

If you would like more information about this group, contact President Mike Myers at 318-470-7731.

The University of Arkansas System Division of Agriculture is an equal opportunity/equal access/affirmative action institution.

If you require a reasonable accommodation to participate or need materials in another format, contact Carlie Bothum, CES Agent – Agriculture at (870) 845-7517 or email Bothum at cduggin@uada.edu as soon as possible.

Dial 711 for Arkansas Relay.
