Effie Lee Bailey Parker, 92, of Dierks, died Sunday, Dec. 6, 2020 in Dierks.
She was born Jan. 23, 1928, to the late Walter Lee Bailey and Delia Mae McClure Bailey. She was a homemaker and member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church.
Mrs. Effie enjoyed quilting, tending to her garden and was truly a Christian lady. She loved her children, grandchildren and her great grandchildren and her great-great grandchildren. Family and faith were especially important to her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Houston Parker, and a son, Jerry Parker.
Survivors include: three children, Judy Coleman and Calvin Parker both of Dierks, and Sherry Crews of Prescott; a sister, Dessie Reed of De Queen; also grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
Graveside services will be Thursday, Dec. 10, 2020, at 10 a.m. at Sunshine Cemetery with her son, Calvin Parker, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Nashville Funeral Home.
Covid-19 rules require that everyone in attendance either wear a face covering or social distance.
