Our precious, kind-hearted mother, Luie Esther Tipton, age 72, of Murfreesboro, Ark., passed away Thursday, Sept. 24, 2020, in Murfreesboro.
She was born March 31, 1948, in Murfreesboro to the late Luie Tipton and Dora Price Tipton. She was a retired nurses’s aide and a homemaker, and member of the Sunset Church of Christ.
Preceding her in death were her parents; a sister, Jeanette Ruth Mabery; a brother, Travis Tipton; a grandson, Samuel Asher Collins and nephew, David Tipton. She was the last of her siblings.
Her survivors include: two sons, James R. Withers (Klorisa) of Hope, Ark., and Michael W. Withers (Heather) of Dubach, La.; two daughters Michelle C. Green (Alan) of Nashville, Ark., and Dana B. Collins (Philip) of Guymon, Okla.. She was blessed with eight grandchildren, Forrest Sandoval, Aden Collins, Mykayla Withers, Andrew Withers, Kenan Withers, Gage Green, Ava Collins and Dieucotie ‘Cotie’ Green, and a great-grandchild, Hagen Sandoval. Also, nieces Gina Laxton and Angel Rowten, and nephews Jeff Tipton and Stacy Mabery.
At the nursing home she was known as ‘Lulu.’ She had wonderful, special caregivers whom she loved like family. We are so grateful for those that loved her and took care of her. She loved her family with all of heart and soul, and she will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
