Donnis Carver, age 79, of Mineral Springs died Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2020, in Nashville, Ark.
She was born April 25, 1941, in Mineral Springs, Ark., the daughter of the late Robbie Louis and Joerena Wyatt Zachry.
Mrs. Carver was a member of Central Baptist Church in Mineral Springs and was a very active cook for all church functions. She worked for Diamond Bank in Mineral Springs for many years, and enjoyed gardening, and spending time with her grandkids.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Leroy Zachry.
Survivors include: her husband, Hugh Carver of Mineral Springs, Ark.; two sons, David Carver and wife Miesha of Lockesburg, Ark., and Dewayne Carver of Ozan, Ark.; one sister, Beverly Corbell of Hope, Ark.; five grandchildren, Charles Carver and wife Lacey of Ozan, Ark., Matthew Carver of Russellville, Ark., Kaylea Carver, Lauren Carver, and Aubrey Carver all of Lockesburg, Ark.; two great grandchildren Brian and Bailey Carver both of Ozan, Ark.; as well as a number of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m., Friday, Sept. 11, at Falls Chapel Cemetery, with Bro. Ben Jones officiating, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville.
