Obituary: Columbia Clark Winchester, 99, of Mineral Springs

Columbia Clark Winchester, age 99, of Mineral Springs, passed away Wednesday, May 20, 2020, in her home surrounded by family. She was born on April 1, 1921 daughter of the late William Bennett and Mamie Pearl Spencer Clark.

Columbia was a member of the Central Baptist Church in Mineral Springs and a member of the Sunshine Club. She was the salutatorian of her high school class. She was an LPN and later became corporate secretary at JW Manufacturing. She loved her family dearly and especially strived to care for and spend time with her daughter, Ramona.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two sons, Gary David Winchester and Tony Louis Winchester; six brothers, Dan Clark, Louis Clark, Terral Clark, W.B. Clark, Edgar Clark, and Henry Clark; and two sons-in-law, Don L. Parker and Dr. Richard Ruble II.

Survivors include: her four daughters, Carolyn W. Parker, Linda W. Garrett and husband Hurshel, Alice Ramona Winchester, and Mamie Susan Ruble; daughter-in-law, Barbara A. Winchester; sister, Peggy Westfall and husband Wilton; 12 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

A graveside service was held at Mineral Springs Cemetery on Friday, May 22, 2020, at 2:30 p.m. with Bro. Ben Jones and Bro. Bruce Short officiating, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to Central Baptist Church, PO Box 69, Mineral Springs, AR 71851.
