Community groups and organizations in the area are encouraged to participate in the Dierks Chamber of Commerce’s annual Christmas parade on Monday, Dec. 16.
The categories for floats include: Churches, Civic Organizations, school groups and businesses. The winner of each category will win a $75 cash prize.
After the parade, there will be five $100 cash prize drawings and drawings for a gift to be given to one boy and girl. There will also be food, music, a Christmas tree decorating contest and a visit from Santa Claus.
