Hally Vernell Mitchell, 80 of Murfreesboro, died Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2019, at her home. She was born July 1, 1939 in Murfreesboro, the daughter of the late Marvin and Geneva Walls McAnelly.
She was a homemaker and was a member of the Mt. Moriah Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Kay Cox, and a grandson.
Survivors include: her husband, Johnny Mitchell of Murfreesboro; a son, Richard Tuberville of Nashville; two daughters, Detra Patterson of Texarkana, Texas, and Cynthia Barnes of Arkadelphia; two brothers, Gary Marvin McAnelly of Delight, and John Allison “Bud” McAnelly of Murfreesboro; also grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were 10:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 8, at Murfreesboro Cemetery with Bro. Rob Miller officiating under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro.
