Willie Jo Stewart, 81 of Tollette, died Friday, May 10, 2019, in Dallas, Texas.
She was born Feb. 28, 1938, in Mineral Springs. She was a retired educator, teaching 37 years in Washington School District, Howard County High School, and Saratoga School District. She was also a member of the Tollette First Church of God.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Stewart; sister, Annetta Ruth Block; brothers, Leo Timothy Morgan, Jr. and Norman Morgan.
Survivors include: her son, Jason A. Stewart and wife, Shakieta Stewart of Grand Prairie, Texas; two sisters, Peggy Byas of Chicago, Ill., and Debra Jill Northcross of Ashdown; a brother, David Charles Morgan of Dallas, Texas; also grandchildren.
Her funeral was Saturday, May 18, 2019, at the Tollette First Church of God.
