Vester Lamar Windham, age 87, of Nashville, Ark., passed away on Monday, May 20, 2019, in Texarkana, Texas.

He was born on June 2, 1931 in Center, Texas, the son of the late Vester E. and Lou Noel Windham.

Mr. Windham was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Nashville and retired after twenty-five years of service as a Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force. During his service he had tours in Vietnam, Korea, France, Tokyo, Japan, and the Philippines. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Margie Imogene Gardner Windham, as well as three brothers, Clyde, Howard, and Clayton Windham.

Survivors include: two sons, Tracy Windham of Little Rock, Ark.; Jeff Windham of Nashville, Ark.; one daughter, Kelly Bradford of Redwater, Texas; one brother, Marshall Windham of Columbus, Texas; one grandson, Micah Kight and wife, Charla, of Springdale, Ark.; three great-grandsons, Owen, Brody, and Parker Kight, all of Springdale, Ark.; as well as a number of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 22, at Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 23, 2019, at Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville with Bro. Brent Thompson and Gladwin Connell officiating. Burial to follow in Bluff Springs Cemetery.
