William Joe Wallace, 79, of Columbus, died April 10, 2019 in Hot Springs.
He was born in Georgetown, La., on May 11, 1939, to the late Hazelle and Ivy Clifton Wallace. He was a US Navy veteran and was a member of Columbus Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Ann Wallace Stewart.
Survivors include: his wife, Mary Ann Wallace of Columbus; a daughter, Sandra McCalman of Natchitoches, La.; a son, Joey Wallace and wife Debbie of Dubberly, La.; two step-daughters, Kim Compton of Maumelle, and Shannon Compton of Baton Rouge, La.; a brother, James Ray of Blue Ridge, Ga.; also grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Services were Sunday, April 14, 2019, graveside in the Old Minden Cemetery in Minden, La., with Bro. James Stewart officiating. The family received friends on Saturday at Nashville Funeral Home.
