Perlie M. Womack Jackson, 90, of Nashville, died March 26, 2019.
She was born Aug. 10, 1928, to the late Gertie Hignight Womack and Theron Womack. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Dr. George F. Jackson; her infant daughters, Linda and Joan, and her daughter, Susan L. Jackson-Cogburn, and a sister, Leta Faye Purdy-Bosley.
She was a member of the Sunset Church of Christ where she taught a Sunday School class.
Survivors include: her children, Janet M. Shores and husband, Louis, of Arlington, Texas, Randy F. Jackson and wife, Holly, of Texarkana, Ark.; two brothers, Billy Don Womack of Nashville, and James Henry Womack of Marietta, Ga.; also grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was Friday, March 29, 2019, with a funeral service at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Nashville Funeral Home with Dr. Glenn Lance and David Williams officiating.
