Margaret Helen Chandler Mounts, 89, of Dierks, died Thursday, Feb. 21, 2019, in Dierks.
She was born Sept. 28, 1929, in Longview, Texas, the daughter of the late Charlie and Ruby Hawthorn Chandler. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Othel Mounts; a brother, D.M. Chandler; and four sisters, Charlotte Chandler, Jean Greene, Jackie Blake, and Francis Pandza.
Survivors include: two sons, Tommy Mounts and wife, Joyous, of Murfreesboro, Ark., and Randy Mounts and wife, Rosemary, of Little Rock; a daughter, Janie Krantz and husband, Burl, of Umpire; two brothers, J.B. Chandler and Dwight Chandler; and two sisters, Sue Chandler and Louise Blake; also grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were at 10 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 23, 2019, in the Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel in Dierks with James McRae and Jerry Mounts officiating. Burial followed in Burg Cemetery.
The family received friends from 6-8 p.m., Friday at the chapel in Dierks.
