Evelyn Jamison, age 96, of Nashville, Ark., passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2019 in Nashville, Ark.

She was born Jan. 12, 1923 in Nashville, the daughter of the late George and Myrtle Walker Feemster.

Mrs. Jamison was a long standing member of the Chapel Hill Church of Christ. During her career she served as a bookkeeper for Dan Futrell and Stuart Cooley.

She was preceded in death by her first husband M.Z. Chesshir; her second husband, Jim Corn Jamison; one brother, G.W. Feemster; three sisters, Cleo Dyer, Marguerite Taylor, and Juanita Peak.

Survivors include: two sons, Jimmy Jamison of Nashville, and Joey Jamison and wife Lou of Nashville; one brother, Orville Feemster of Nashville; six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, as well as a number of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation was 2:00 until service time, Sunday, Feb. 24, at Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville.

Funeral services were at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 24, at Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville, with Rex Moorer officiating. Burial followed in County Line Cemetery.
