Mark Alan Propps, age 55 ,passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2018, in Nashville, Ark.
He was born on Jan. 10, 1963 in Nashville, Ark., to Evelyn Crowell Propps and the late Joe H. Propps.
Mark was a member of Mineral Springs Church of Christ. He was an educator and coach for 27½ years. In that time, he was part of 10 state championships in track and football.
He is preceded in death by his father, Joe H. Propps, his brother-in-law Richard Hughes, and his nephew, Richard Hughes, Jr.
Survivors include: his wife, Debbie Propps, of Nashville, Ark.; two- stepsons, John Harless and wife Jenna, two grandchildren; Bryce and Braylee, of Glenwood, Ark.; Daniel Harless and wife, Brittany, three grandchildren, Cassi, Derick and Hailey of Vilonia, Ark.; one brother, Phil Propps and wife, Diane, of Nashville, Ark.; one sister, Cathy Jordan and husband, Jeff ,of Nashville, Ark.; as well as a number of nephews, nieces, and friends.
Visitation was 6-8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 23, 2018 at Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville.
Funeral services were at 10 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 24, 2018 at Mineral Springs Church of Christ with Benjamin Neely and Randy Hughes officiating. Burial followed at Bingen-Ozan Cemetery under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville.
