Ray Wilder “Trapper” Leavins, Jr., 67, of Old River, TX, passed away Thursday, November 9, 2017 in Baytown. He was born September 5, 1950 in Baytown, TX, graduated from Murfreesboro High School, Murfreesboro, AR and had resided in the Old River area for the last 33 years.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ray Leavins, Sr. and a brother, Kerry Leavins.

Survivors include his mother, Pauline Leavins of Arkansas; children, Theresa Hensley and her husband, Matthew of Arkansas, Brandi Disney of Fort Worth, Mandi Taylor and her husband, Kirk of Fort Worth and Tre Leavins and his wife Amy of Old River; brother, Mitch Leavins and his wife, Amanda of Arkansas; sisters, Rowena Leavins, Jeslynne Leavins Brown and Narae Leavins all of Arkansas; 11 grandchildren; 3 great- grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins and a host of friends from the Old River-Winfree community.

The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, November 18, 2017 followed by a memorial service at 2 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.
