Mr. James Lloyd Jamison, age 82, a resident of Foreman, Ark., and formerly of Gillham, Ark.,passed away Monday, Oct. 30, 2017, in Texarkana, Texas.

He was born Dec. 2, 1934, in Levelland, Texas. He was an electrical engineer at Ashgrove Cement for 35 years. Mr. Jamison was a Methodist, past president of Tex/Ark Antique Auto Club and MOTAA, and a member of Pate Swap Meet. He was also a United States Air Force veteran and served during the Korean Conflict. 

Mr. Jamison was preceded in death by his parents, James Edgar “Ford” and Effie Marie Rader Jamison; one son, Jeff Jamison; and one grandson, Jeffrey Jamison.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Janice Nielsen Jamison; two daughters, Jamie Rayburn and husband Jon of Taylor, Ark., and Abby Jamison of Foreman; two sons, Tim Jamison and wife  Natalee of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Terry Jamison of Cabot, Ark.; one brother, Gerald Jamison and wife Pat of Stockbridge, Ga.; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mr. Jamison were at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 4, 2017, in the Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Robert Ward officiating. Burial will follow in Gillham Cemetery.

The family received friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Friday, Nov. 3, at the funeral home in De Queen.
