Willie Young, 66 of West Memphis, Ark., died Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2017 in Memphis, Tenn.
He was born Dec. 5, 1950, in Turkey, Texas, the son of the late Marshall and Violet Brumley Young.Â
He was a member of the Grace Baptist Church in West Memphis.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Kay Young; and two sisters, Kathy Cowling and Maedonie Ray.
Survivors include: his wife of 45 years, Barbara Myrick Young of West Memphis;Â a son, David Young and wife, Lisa, of Marion, Ark.; three brothers, Marshall Young of Nashville, Jimmy Young of Jonesboro, and Ken Young of Nashville; two sisters, Sharon Henderson of Nashville, and Patricia Harrison of Hot Springs; also a grandchild.
Visitation was prior to the service Saturday, Oct. 14, at the Friendship Methodist Church in McCaskill.
Funeral services were 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 14, at the Friendship Methodist Church in McCaskill, with Bro. Jerry Evans officiating. Burial followed in Friendship Cemetery under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville.
