Cathy “Cat” Renee Isaacson, 43 of Fort Smith, passed away suddenly at her home on Friday, Oct. 13, 2017; she was a Christian and is now with her Maker and her mother. She was born Feb. 28, 1974 in De Queen, Ark., to Jimmy and Lorene Hosey of Nashville, Ark. Cathy was a dedicated wife and Mom, a loving sister, daughter, and friend to so many. She served as a P-TA president at Carnall Elementary where she gained so many special friendships. Some of her favorite things were fishing on the White River, photography, art, and sewing. She was great at whatever she set her mind to do. She would speak her mind and love beyond measure. You couldn’t not like her; she was a genuine person and she will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lorene, her grandparents, and a cousin.
Funeral Service will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 19, 2017 at New Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in Mineral Springs, Ark., officiated by Bro. Dave Raulerson, with burial to follow at the Shiloh Cemetery in Mineral Springs, Ark. Arrangements are under the direction of Fentress Mortuary in Fort Smith.
Cathy is survived by her husband, Chad Isaacson of the home; two sons, Ian Isaacson of Conway, and Ivan Isaacson of the home; her dad, Jimmy Hosey of Nashville, Ark.; her brother, Mike Hosey and his wife Jennifer of Mineral Springs, Ark.; her sister, Sherry Hood and her husband Bill of Bryant, Ark. She is also survived by her In-laws, Sharon and David Moist of London, Ark., and Gene and Jonay Isaacson of Cokato, Minn.; as well as her brother and sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, and nieces.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2017 at the funeral home.
