Carl Douglas Reese, age 85, of Nashville, Ark., passed away Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2017 in Texarkana.
He was born Feb. 5, 1932 in Nashville to the late Ed and Lona Stone Reese.
He was retired from the State of Arkansas. He was a member of the Chapel Hill Church of Christ.
Preceding him in death were his parents and one brother, Coy Reese.
His survivors include: his wife of over 48 years, Peggy Smith Reese of Nashville; one daughter, Carla and husband John Goza of Texarkana, Texas; two sons, Stephen and wife Carol Reese of Longview, Texas and Robert Reese of Dallas, Texas; one brother-in-law, Paul and wife Sandra Smith of Red Water, Texas; one grandson, Coy Reese of Longview, and three great-granddaughters, Dreama, Sierra and Paige Reese. As well as a host of other family and friends.
A private graveside service is scheduled for Mr. Reese.
