Peggy Vaughan, 86, of Little Rock passed away peacefully Monday, July 10, 2017. She was born April 1,1931 in Murfreesboro, Arkansas to Rembert Owens and Lucille Womack Owens. Peggy married Ray Vaughan on November 3, 1956. They were married 60 years before his passing in February. Peggy was a lifetime member of the First United Methodist Church in Murfreesboro and before retirement had a lifelong career working in the Banking Industry.
She is preceded in death by her husband.
Survivors include two sons; Tim Vaughan and Bryan Vaughan, both of Little Rock; three grandchildren, Lindsey Erin Vaughan, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Megan Taylor; sisters; Betty Walls (J.W.) of Murfreesboro, Jackie Steuart of Murfreesboro and Patricia Morgan (Ross) of Texarkana.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 15, 2017 at Philippi Church of Christ near Bismarck. Interment will follow at Philippi Cemetery.
