Mrs. June Cox, 86, of Nashville, Ark., passed away Thursday, July 6, 2017, in Nashville, Ark. She was born June 3, 1931 in Hope, Ark., to Erie Eugene and Goldie Ferguson Collums.
June was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Benjamin Sid Cox; two grandchildren; four brothers and one sister.
Mrs. Cox is survived by two sons, Curtis and Sandy Cox of Nashville, Ark., and Marty and Leta Cox of Nashville, Ark.; two daughters, Linda and Connley Venable of Nashville, Ark., and Gwin Holland and Dennis Carmon of Hot Springs, Ark.; one brother, Eugene “Sonny” and Joyce Dean Collums of Hope, Ark.; one sister, Frances and Buddy Stevenson of Hope, Ark.; two sisters-in-law, Joan Quillin and Peggy Gray both of Hope, Ark.; nine grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was Monday, July 10, 2017, at Cross Point Cowboy Church in Nashville, Ark., from 1:00 p.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. Bro. Charles Jones and Bro. Don Jones officiated under the direction of Herndon Pharr Funeral Home of Hope, Ark. Interment followed at Holly Grove Cemetery in DeAnn.
