Mrs. Florine Lofton, age 91, a resident of Dierks, Ark., died Friday, July 7, 2017 in Dierks.
She was born Dec. 22, 1925, in Dierks. She was the co-owner of Lofton Hardware for many years and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Dierks.
Mrs. Lofton was preceded in death by her parents, Monroe and Flora Chandler Lee, and one sister, Evelyn Lyrock.
She is survived by: her husband, Kenneth Lofton of Dierks; one daughter and son-in-law, Peggy and Bud Walston of Hot Springs, Ark.; one grandson, Scott Walston and his wife, Rachael, of Hot Springs, and four great-grandchildren, Allie and Austin Barnes and Knox and Brax Walston.
The family received friends from 2:00-3:00 p.m., Sunday, July 9, 2017 at the First United Methodist Church in Dierks. A graveside funeral service was held immediately following the visitation at Dierks Cemetery with Rev. Carroll Jackson officiating, under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home in De Queen.
