Edith Estell May, 95, of Delight, died Tuesday, July 11, 2017. She was born May 16, 1922, in Boughton, Ark., to the late Jesse Walter Baker and Tempe Estell Box Baker.
She was a member of Delight United Methodist Church and was a 54 year member of the East Delight Extension Homemakers Club.
She was preceded in death by a brother Joe Baker; a sister, Pauline Blevins; and her son, Michael Keith May.
Survivors include: her husband of 74 years, Bert May; a son, Charles May and wife, Nan, of Delight; a sister, Ruby Wicker of Prescott; also grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, July 12, at Latimer Funeral Home Chapel in Murfreesboro.
Funeral services were 11 a.m. Thursday, July 13, 2017, at Delight United Methodist Church with Rev. Jim Henderson officiation. Burial followed in Delight Cemetery.
