Madeline Jewel Dunlap, age 95, of Kirby, passed away Wednesday, May 31, 2017.
She was born on August 25, 1921 at Center Valley, the daughter of Homer Jones and Norma Ewing Jones. On December 28, 1945, she married Ellis Dunlap who preceded her in death on January 22, 1999. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her grandson, Greggery Self.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Mona Dunlap and her daughter and son- in-law, Kay and Blake Self, all of Kirby; four grandchildren and their spouses, Shane Self, Chris and Dianna Self, Jennifer and Don Bates and Jason Dunlap; five great-grandchildren, Dustin, Steven, Jon, Tyler and Brendon; two great-great-grandchildren, Kaila and Noah; her sister, Martha Faulkner of North Little Rock; and several nieces and nephews.
Services were held on Saturday, June 3, 2017, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Glenwood, with Billy Golden and John Howell officiating.
Interment will be in the Glenwood Cemetery.
