Sybil Jean Faulkner, 88, of Newhope, died Monday, May 22, 2017.
She was born Nov. 2, 1928 in Athens, Ark., the daughter of the late Rufus and Opal Pate Flenor. She was a homemaker and a member of the Umpire Holiness Church.
She was preceded in death by a brother, RC Flenor; a sister, Helen Jamison, and two sons, Jimmy Faulkner and Kenny Ray Faulkner.
Survivors include: her husband, Raymon Faulkner; one son, Paul Faulkner of Dierks; one sister, Jhonia Faye Kirkpatrick, and two brothers, James Flenor and Terry Flenor; also grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were at 10 a.m., Wednesday, May 24, 2017, in the Umpire Holiness Church with Steve Green and Don Vaughn officiating. Burial followed in Bethel Cemetery, under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home.
