Steven Glen Martin, 58, of Dierks, Ark., died Sunday, May 7, 2017, in Nashville.
He was born March 5, 1959 to Mary Lou Petet Martin and the late Perry Wayne Martin in Panama City, Fla. He was a Dierks teacher and a retired coach of 33 years. He attended First Baptist Church in De Queen.
Survivors include: his wife, Cindy Davis Martin; his mother, Mary Lou Petet Martin of Dierks; a daughter Beth Shelton and husband, Trey, of Dierks; three sons, Brad Martin and wife, Ann, of Georgetown, Texas, Brady Martin and wife, Jennifer, of Canyon, Texas, and Ben Martin of Benton, Ark.; a brother, Tony Wayne Martin of Dierks; also grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at the Dierks High School Gymnasium with Brady Martin, Josh Herweck, and Micah Martin officiating. Burial followed in the Dierks Cemetery under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home in Dierks.
