Onyal Vernon “OV” Morrison, 89, of Story, Ark., died May 3, 2017 in Mt. Ida.
He was born Nov. 29, 1927, to the late Emmit and Edith (Brown) Morrison in Mauldin, Ark.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorathy Morrison; a son, Dean Morrison; a daughter, Velma Morrison and a brother, Doyle Morrison.
Survivors include: his son, Vernon Cotton Morrison and wife, Elise; a daughter, Barbara Glidewell, and husband, John; a sister, Mildred Stewart; also grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday, May 5, 5-8 p.m. at Thornton Funeral Home Chapel in Mt.
Ida. Graveside services will be Saturday, May 6, 2017, 10 a.m. at Oakwood Cemetery with Bro. Josh Harper officiating.
