Good Ol’ Days Car Show registration underway

Entry forms are now available for the 2017 Mount Ida Good Ol’ Days Car Show presented by Mount Ida Youth Athletic Association and Montgomery County Athletic Association.

The car show will be held in conjunction with the Good Ol’ Days Festival presented by the Mount Ida Area Chamber of Commerce. It will be held Saturday, May 27, on the Courthouse Square in Mount Ida.

Check in time will begin at 8 a.m. and continue until 10:30 a.m. Early bird entry is $20 for the first vehicle and $15 for additional entries. Registration on the day of the event is $25 for the first entry and $20 for each additional entries.

Vehicles will be on display around the Square throughout the day with award winners announced at 3 p.m.

There will be over 25 awards presented this year in a variety of categories.

Categories include: Pre 1949 Original, Pre 1949 Custom/Modified, 1950-1963 Original, 1950-1963 Custom/Modified, 1964-1974 Original, 1964-1974 Custom/Modified, 1975-1984 Original, 1975-1984 Custom/Modified, 1985-1993 Original, 1985-1993 Custom/Modified, 1994-2004 Original, 1994-2004 Custom/Modified, 2005-Current Original, 2005-current Custom/Modified, Muscle Car 1966-1971, Pre 1986 Antique Motorcycle, Street Motorcycle, Street Rod, Sport Truck , Full Size Truck 1973-1998, Full Size Truck 1999-2016, Mini Truck 1973-1998, Mini Truck 1999-2016,  Jeep, Corvette (C1, C2, C3), Cruisers, Best Engine, Best Specialty, Best Paint, Best Interior, and Best of Show.
