Norma Wright, age 75, of Glenwood, passed away on Friday, April 21, 2017, at her home.
She was born on July 15, 1941 in Glenwood, the daughter of Thomas Wesley Kitchens and Ola Orrick Kitchens. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, Kenneth Kitchens.
She was a member of the Glenwood Free Will Baptist Church and enjoyed quilting.
She is survived by Johnny Wright; two children and their spouses, Gary and Deborah Wright, and Krystal and Joey Pannell; four grandchildren; three sisters, Betty Carter, Bonnie Markham and Peggy Lambert, all of Glenwood; her brother, Charles Kitchens of Kirby; and several nieces and nephews.
Services were held at 2:00 PM, Monday, April 24, 2017, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Glenwood, with Bro. Greg McCuin and Bro. Kenny Fant officiating.
Interment will be in the Glenwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Larry Wright, John Wayne Plyler, Orville Wright, George Howell, Tommy Jenkins, Donald Porter and Grady Carpenter.
Honorary pallbearers will be her grandchildren, Ashley Wright, Justin Pannell, Jackson Pannell and Kassidy Pannell.
