Mary A. Dildy, 79, of Nashville, died April 3, 2017 in Nashville.
She was born Aug. 4, 1937 in Nashville to the late Ollie Thomas and Minnie Ethel Hudson Wakefield.
She was a Methodist and was a Registered Nurse, having worked as a Surgical Nurse at Howard Memorial Hospital for many years.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Ollie Jo Wakefield, and brother, Tom Wakefield. She is survived by nieces and nephews.
Cremation is under the direction of Nashville Funeral Home.Â
The family will have a celebration service of her life at 11 a.m. Friday, April 14, 2017 at the County Line Church activities building near Nashville. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
