Parents of children who will be five years old on or before Aug. 1, 2017, and will be enrolling in Nashville Primary’s kindergarten for the 2017-2018 school year need to pre-register their child for kindergarten, according to Principal Shirley Wright.

Pre-registration will be Wednesday, April 26, from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the Primary School office.

Parents will need to take their child to be pre-assessed while they are filling out registration papers.

Parents should take their child’s birth certificate, Social Security card, up-to-date shot records, and a recent physical assessment from a doctor, Wright said.

If the child attends one of Nashville’s pre-schools or daycare centers, children will be pre-assessed at their pre-school/daycare by Nashville Primary’s staff.

Registration papers will be sent home to those parents to be completed and returned to their child’s pre-school/daycare.
