Junior thinclads earn Ashdown relay titles

The Nashville Junior High Scrapperettes won the championship of the girls division at the Ashdown Junior High Merchant Relays April 11. Laura Kidd is the head coach for the Scrapperettes.
The Nashville Junior High Scrappers won the boys division of the Ashdown Junior High Merchant Relays last Thursday, April 11. Ted Green is the head coach for the Scrappers. Nashville will host the District 7-4A junior high track meet Thursday, starting at 1 p.m.

ASHDOWN – Nashville won the girls division and boys division of the Ashdown Junior High Merchants Relays April 11.

The junior Scrappers took first place with 210 points, followed by Ashdown with 117.

The Scrapperettes compiled 181 points for first place, followed by Ashdown with 123.
