Obituary: Maxine Nolen Watts; Delight

Maxine Nolen Watts, 83, of Delight, Ark., passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2017. She was born on May 8, 1933 in Pisgah, Ark., the daughter of the late Lawrence Randall and Linnie Lamb Nolen.

Mrs. Watts was a member of the First Assembly of God in Delight, Ark. She was a loving, wonderful, outspoken, and fantastic lady that believed in living life to the fullest.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alton “Bo” Leon Watts.

Survivors include: four sons, Max Watts and wife, Regina of Kirby; Rex Watts and wife, Tracy of Delight; Perry Watts of Delight; Randle Watts and wife, Nancy of Delight; three daughters, Darlene Carroll and husband, Keith of Nashville, Robin Sweeden and husband, Russell of Fouke, and Becky White and husband, Robert of El Dorado, Ark.; one brother, Junior Nolen of Delight; two sisters, Lolaphyrn Wilson of Delight, and Georgia Sue Gaines of Delight; 22 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

Visitation was 6-8 p.m., Friday, Jan. 27, at the Latimer Funeral Home Chapel in Murfreesboro.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 28, at the First Assembly of God Church in Delight, with Bruce and Cathy Francis officiating. Burial followed in Delight Cemetery under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro.
