Linda Starling, 71 of Hot Springs, formerly of Nashville, died Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2016 in Hot Springs.

She was born Jan. 12, 1945 in Nashville, the daughter of the late Hugh Rector and Pauline Eunice Kirkpatrick Woodruff. She was a retired florist. She owned Pleasant Valley Shopp in Nashville for more than ten years. She was a former teacher at Little Red School House.

She was a member of the Aldridge Church of Christ in Pearcy, Ark.

Preceding her in death were two husbands, Dale McDaniel and Bob Starling; also two brothers, Doug Woodruff and Eddie Woodruff.

Survivors include: a daughter, Paula Belknap-Hill of Hot Springs, and a son, Rex McDaniel of Russeville; a sister, Polly Evans of Hot Springs and a brother, Felix Woodruff of Ashdown; also grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Services were Sunday, Dec. 6, 2016 at 1 p.m. at Aldridge Church of Christ in Pearcy with Toni Esnner officiating. Interment followed at Restland Memorial Park in Nashville, with her son, Rex McDaniel, officiating.
