Patsy Vernell James, 78, of North Richland Hills, Texas, died Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2016 in Bedford, Texas.
She was born Feb. 23, 1938 in Dierks, the daughter of the late Cleo James and Bertha Oma Axton James. She was a retired teacher and was a member of the Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include several cousins.
Graveside services were at 2 p.m., Monday, Oct. 31, 2016, in the Dierks Cemetery with Kevin Herrington officiating under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home in De Queen.
