“HMH Foundation Souper Bowl” to feature flag football tournament; homemade soup

    The HMH Foundation is sponsoring the first ever “HMH Foundation Souper Bowl.”  The event is a flag football tournament which will be held on Saturday, Dec. 3.

    The ‘bowl’ will be at the Nashville City Park from 10:30 a.m. until a champion is crowned.

    There are three divisions:

    Youth — grades 4-6;

    Junior — grades 7-9;

    Adult — 10-adult.

    Price is $25 per person with a team ref fee. Equipment will be provided. All rules, waivers, and information is posted on the Howard Memorial Hospital website at www.howardmemorial.com/events or on the hospital Facebook page. T-shirts will be given to each participant and teams should try to register by Nov. 25 in order to receive the shirts on the day of the event.

    Homemade soup for $5 a bowl will be served in the concession stand. The public is invited to participate or come by for a bowl of soup.
