Wendell Doyce Sharp, 69, of Newhope, died Monday, Aug. 29, 2016.
He was born Dec. 21, 1946 in Howard County, Ark., the son of Alice Sharp and the late Obie Doyce Sharp. He was a member of the Langley First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include: his mother; two daughters, Tricia Threet of Mena, and Wendy Forrest and husband, Michael, of Pea Ridge, Ark.; one brother, Dwight Sharp and wife, Phyllis, of Newhope; also grandchildren.
Funeral services were at 11 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 3, 2016 in the Bissell Chapel Church with Bro. Michael Forrest officiating. Burial followed in the Bissell Chapel Cemetery, under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home.
