Andrea Cantrell, age 35, of Amity, passed away on Sunday, September 4, 2016.

She was born on January 17, 1981 in Dallas, Texas, the daughter of Jerry Brown and Lana Dunn Brown.

She was a research coordinator for Burke Pharmaceutical Research in Hot Springs and attended the Trinity Temple Assembly of God Church in Arkadelphia. Andrea and Josh were members of the Clear Creek Hunting Club where she truly enjoyed being outdoors hunting, cooking out and watching Razorback games. If she wasn’t at the deer lease, you would probably find Andrea with family and friends at the lake. Andrea had a big group of friends, even a group of dearly loved girlfriends that met often for a fun game of Bunco. With this group of girls, Andrea proclaimed herself the “Bunco Queen.”

Andrea was a wonderful mother who was always involved in her children’s activities. She adored her two girls, Bay and Bayley. She has them both involved in cheer, dance, gymnastics, basketball and softball. Andrea was filled with pride when she cheered from the stands and watched Garrett play football for the Sylvan Hills Bears.

She is survived by her husband, Josh Cantrell of Amity; three children, Garrett Gilbert, Bayley Cantrell and Bailey Gilbert; her parents, Jerry and Lana Brown of Sherwood; three sisters, Melinda Willbanks of Bald Knob, Lanette Reed and her husband, Chris, of Batesville and Marisa NeSmith and her husband, David, of Savannah, Georgia; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Johnny and Linda Cantrell of Amity; two brothers-in-law and her sister-in-law, Jason and Samantha Cantrell of Rockport, Texas and Justin Cantrell of Benton; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, September 8, 2016, in the Glenwood First Church of the Nazarene with Bro. Rick Mays officiating.

Visitation will be Wednesday, 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at the funeral home.

Interment will be in Jones Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood. Pallbearers will be Chris Rice, Johnny Barksdale, Jim Ferguson, Brooks Killian, Bear Chaney and Page Kutait.
