The Nashville Scrapper cheerleaders will conduct their annual cheer clinic in conjunction with the Nashville vs. Arkadelphia football game and tailgate party Sept. 23.

Girls who participate will practice at the Scrapper Dome Monday, Sept. 19; Tuesday, Sept. 20; and Thursday, Sept. 22, from 3:30-4:30 p.m.

Because of the large numbers of participants in previous clinics, the girls will be placed into two groups for part of their practice time, with some working in the cheer room at the Scrapper Dome  while others work on the Dome’s field.

The girls will learn new chants and dances. They will perform at the tailgate party and pregame on the track Sept. 23 prior to the football game.

Each participant will receive a clinic T-shirt to wear the night of the game.

Registration is required for participants. The cheerleaders will not provide transportation.

Parents may register their children by filling out a form that will be sent home from school Friday, Sept. 2, and returning the form prior to Sept. 16, along with the $30 registration fee.

Forms should be sent to NHS Cheerleaders, 1301 Mt. Pleasant Drive, Nashville, AR 71852.

Registration forms and fees should not be sent to the child’s teacher.
