Jack Houston Floyd
Jack Huston ‘Fish Man’ Floyd, 78, of Marshall, Ark., died Friday, June 17.
He was born Aug. 26, 1937, at Nathan, Ark., the son of the late Carol Huston and Willie Juanita Floyd.
He was a graduate of Murfreesboro High School, and had resided in Texas for more than 40 years. He was a US Army veteran.
He was preceded in death by a brother, LaVon Floyd; four sisters, Lois ‘Tiny’ Wright, Emma McCullough, Jannie McCullough and Louanna Ryan; and a daughter, Debbie Phillips.
Survivors include: his wife, Bonnie Floyd; sons, Bryan ‘Bo Jack’ Floyd and wife, Michelle, of Marshall, Mark Floyd of Marshall; a daughter, Jackie Bowen and husband, Burt, of Marshall; siblings Kenneth Duncan Floyd and Jonnie Marie Couch, both of Nashville; also grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held Monday, June 20, 2016, at The Chapel of Downs Funeral Home in Marshall, Texas, with Bro. Pete Sellars officiating. Burial followed in Piney Cemetery in Harleton, Texas.
