NPD arrests three for alleged theft of cars

    NASHVILLE – On May 2, at approximately 4 p.m., Nashville Officers Ty Basiliere and Keith Philamlee spoke with Pamela Hamilton regarding someone hitting her vehicle while she was at Sonic. Hamilton was able to give a Georgia tag number of the vehicle. When officers ran the tag it returned stolen out of Georgia. The vehicle was a 2008 Pontiac Torrent.
    At 4:23 p.m., officers received a call that the vehicle they were looking for was at Road Mart. Howard County Deputy Timmy Floyd was close to the location and found it in the parking lot. The driver was identified as Dylon Lafollette, 18, from Sevierville, TN. He was arrested and transported to Howard County Jail.
    Two hours later, Officer Philamlee conducted a traffic stop on North Washington Street. Philamlee identified the driver as Kenneth Monday, 22, from Garrison, Texas. Monday had felony warrants out of Nacogdoches, Texas for Burglary of Habitation.
    A passenger in the vehicle was identified as Jefferson Bridges, 18, from Morristown, TN. While Officers were searching him they found a key to a Pontiac vehicle in his pocket. The key was to the stolen vehicle out of Georgia that they recovered a few hours prior. Bridges and Monday were transported to Howard County Jail.
    During interviews at the jail, Bridges and Lafollette admitted to stealing two vehicles in Tennessee, and one in Georgia. They are being held at Howard County Jail on charges of Theft by Receiving. No bond has been set at this time.
