Felix Gilbert, 68 of Dierks, Arkansas passed away at his home on Friday, May 6, 2016. He was born on March 5, 1948 the son of Lovena Young Gilbert and the late Felix Ferdie Gilbert Jr.  Mr. Gilbert was a member of the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, and a supervisor for Weyerhaeuser in Dierks. He was an Army Reserve Captain in the 95th division. Survivors include his wife Kay Gilbert of Dierks; children Jo Ann (Marty) Mahan of Greenwood, Felix (Tonya) Gilbert Jr. of Dierks; Matthew Chanc (Beth) Gilbert of Dierks; his mother, Lovena Gilbert of Dierks; a brother Marvin (Cathy) Gilbert of Dierks; two sisters Loretta (Truman) Hill of Newhope; and Cindy (Tim) Harding of Nashville; eight grandchildren Justin Gilbert, Zackery Gilbert, Tasha King, Samantha Fink, Hannah Ellis, Jordan Mahan, Matthew Mahan, and Joseph Mahan; four great-grandchildren Riley Fink, Kylon Fink, Carson King and Gracie King, as well as a number of nieces, nephews, and friends.  Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m.Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at the Mt. Carmel Cemetery, with Bro. Calvin Parker officiating, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home.
