The Nashville High School EAST Lab and Howard County Health Coalition will be sponsoring a prescription drug take back event on Thursday, April 21 at the senior adult center in Nashville. This will be held during lunch and the public may stop by and drop off any unwanted or unused medications. The sheriff’s department will also hold the Arkansas Prescription Take Back event on Saturday, April 30 from 10 until 2 at the Howard County Sheriff’s office. A drop off box is also located inside the sheriff’s department lobby and the public can also use that option to drop off medications at any time. Sadie Prejean talked to the Nashville Rotary club on Wednesday about the upcoming events.
