Mrs. Ruby Etta Jester Krantz, age 88, a longtime resident of Dierks, Arkansas died Sunday, April 10, 2016 in Dierks Health and Rehab. She was born October 3, 1927, in Dierks. She was retired from Weyerhaeuser and a member of the First Baptist Church in Dierks. She liked to crochet, craft and do word search puzzles. Mrs. Krantz was preceded in death by her parents, Curt and Bertie Johnson Jester; her husband, John D. Krantz and one brother, William “Bunny” Jester. She is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Jimmy Krantz and Robert and Brenda Krantz; two daughters and a son-in-law, Susy Callaway and Wanda and David Heifner all of Dierks; one sister, Betty Gynell Lacefield of De Queen; 10 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Ruby Krantz will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 12, 2016, in the Dierks Cemetery with Jerry Jester and David Blasé officiating, under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home in De Queen. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Monday, April 11, 2016, at the funeral home in De Queen. The family will be at the home of Wanda and David Heifner, 208 W. 2nd Street in Dierks. You may register on-line at www.wilkersonfuneralhomes.com
