Dwight D. Smith, born November 1, 1955, went to be with the lord on April 24, 2016.
Dwight worked in the oil and gas industry. His career took him to several places around the country, however Dwight cherished his time spent in Helotes, Texas.
He was a loving husband, father, “Big Daddy,” and friend.
Dwight is preceded in death by his parents, Jimmy D Smith and Bonnie Jo Roberts Smith Pope.
He leaves behind his wife of 39 years, Marilyn Smith; daughters, Lindsey Soylemez and Lauren Willers; granddaughter, Bonnie Kei; and brother, Lance Pope.
A celebration of life will be held Friday, April 29, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. at Mission Park Funeral Chapels North.
