Arkansas Department of Education releases district report cards

School report cards for 2014-15 were released Friday by the Arkansas Department of Education.

The report cards are based on test scores, graduation rates and another of other factors.

Overall, the state said scores declined from the previous year because the state switched from the Arkansas Benchmark Exams to the PARCC test.

PARCC was replaced by ACT Aspire for the current academic year.

Grades for area schools for 2014-15 include the following:

Nashville High School – B

Nashville Junior High – C

Nashville Primary – C

Nashville Elementary – D

Mineral Springs High School – C

Mineral Springs Elementary – D

Dierks High School – C

Dierks JoAnn Walters Elementary – B

Murfreesboro High School – C

Murfreesboro Elementary – D

Delight Elementary – D

Grades from 2013-14 include the following:

Nashville High School – B

Nashville Junior High – C

Nashville Primary – C

Nashville Elementary – C

Mineral Springs High School – C

Mineral Springs Elementary – F

Dierks High School – B

Dierks JoAnn Walters Elementary – B

Murfreesboro High School – C
