bellFlorida Rebecca Bell, 97, of Nashville, Arkansas, passed to her eternal home on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 in her home at 9:30 in the morning, surrounded by her loved ones.
Mrs. Bell was a retired housekeeper for several families, here in Nashville, for over 40 years. She was born on August 4, 1918 in Nashville, to William and Mell Clardy (deceased).
She is preceded in death by James Wiley Taylor and Mr. Lawyer Bell (husbands); three sons, Jerry, James, and Don Ray Taylor; four sisters; five brothers; and two randdaughters.
Mrs. Bell is survived by her children, who loved her dearly, one son, Ben Edward Taylor of the home; two daughters, Mary Maedean Ivory of Lawton, Oklahoma and Gracie Lee Taylor-Crosslin of Amarillo, Texas; one daughter-in-law, Zeola Taylor of Quitaque, Texas; two sisters, Josephine Moseley (Willis) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Diane Johnson of Quitaque, Texas; 10 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and 14 great great grandchildren; one God granddaughter; nieces; nephews; and a host of other relatives; friends; and a very special Aunt Ms. Mae Lou Hendrix. Mrs. Bell was a loving and kind person deeply loved by all those she came in contact with. She never met a stranger, was always willing to share and give whatever she had. She loved her children, grandchildren, siblings, nieces, and nephews. Her love reached out to all who needed it. More than anything she loved the Lord and it showed in her daily life. Mrs. Bell united with the First Baptist Church where she sang for the church and various churches as a soloist. She taught as a Sunday School teacher, on the mission board, a deaconess and other auxiliaries of her church. Services will be Saturday, March 5, 2016 at 2:00 PM in the Latimer Funeral Home Chapel in Nashville with Reverend Alex Winfrey officiating. Burial to follow at Sunset Cemetery under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Nashville.
