Arizee was born April 7, 1929 in Camden, Arkansas to Mr. and Mrs. Willie Green. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Willie Green; husband, Edgar King, Sr.; and two children, Gwendolyn King and Marvin King; and a sister, Willie Mae Colvin. She was married to Edgar King, Sr. in Camden, Arkansas in 1947; four children were born to this union. She later moved to El Dorado, Arkansas and graduated from Washington High School. After graduation, she attended Philander Smith College in Little Rock, Arkansas and received a degree in nursing (LPN license). She worked at Warner Brown Hospital in El Dorado, Arkansas, In 1966, she moved to Nashville, where she was employed at Benson Nursing Home for years until her retirement. She leaves to cherish her memory five children, three sons, Edgar King, Jr. of Nashville, Carlton King and Ronald King of Saratoga; two daughters, Ruthilene Edwards (Larry) of McNab and Stacey King Davis (Michael) of Saratoga; seven grandchildren; thirty great-grandchildren; a special daughter-in-law, Lue Ella King; special friends, Verna Sewell, Helen Bell, Charlene Turner, and Mary Coulter; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be held 11:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 19 at Roland Piggee Memorial Baptist Church, 1415 Highway 27 North, Lockesburg (Graves Chapel), Arkansas.
